Places for Older Adults to Worship Online

In recent years, churches have started uploading and streaming Sunday worship services and other church activities online for a variety of reasons. Some members may not be able to make it to church because of their health. Non-members might want a preview of what that church is like. More recently, widespread health risks have prevented people from gathering in large groups, which has motivated even more churches to make their worship available on the internet.

Whatever the reasons are, it is easier than ever to attend a live or pre-recorded church service from home. Some churches use YouTube, some use Facebook, and others use other similar services to stream their online worship services.

We’ve collected links to online church services for all the major denominations. If you follow the links, you can tune in weekly. Some churches even hold multiple weekly online services.

Live online worship services can be an enormous blessing when you are unable to attend church physically because they provide a sense of community that a pre-recorded video doesn’t always convey. If you are unavailable when a live service is broadcasting, you can usually find the video on the church’s website afterwards.
