Ebony Dunham

Social Services Director / Admissions Coordinator (Skilled Nursing)

Ebony Dunham serves as the Social Services Director and Admissions Coordinator for the Skilled Nursing Facility located in the Health Center. She has over 20 years of experience practicing Social Work primarily working with children and families focusing on their overall well-being to include intervening in cases of abuse and neglect and providing suitable housing and additional support to both children and families facing challenges.

She has previously worked as a Geriatric Social Worker focusing on the elderly population providing support and assistance regarding issues with aging, healthcare, social needs and long-term care planning.

COVID-19 was the motivation regarding her decision to provide social services within the healthcare field specifically Nursing Homes due to the impact of the pandemic within this setting of vulnerable adults. She enjoys advocating for the population she serves and their families in coordinating care with other healthcare professionals in various settings such as hospitals, clinics and hospice.
