Governed by a local Board of Directors, Westminster Towers has been serving seniors in Rock Hill, SC, and the surrounding region since 1989. Our History
Westminster Presbyterian Center, Inc. was established to operate a nonprofit, church-sponsored retirement and healthcare community serving Westminster Presbyterian Church of Rock Hill and the surrounding community. What began as a vision in the early 1970s became a reality in June 1989 when Westminster Towers welcomed its first residents.
Since then, Westminster Towers has grown into one of South Carolina’s leading continuing care retirement communities. In 1997, we became the first retirement community in South Carolina to earn accreditation from the National Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, a distinction that reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in senior living and healthcare. Today, we remain among a select group of accredited Life Plan Communities nationwide and ranked #4 in the state by Newsweek.
Over the years, our campus has expanded to better serve residents through additional Independent Living residences, Assisted Living suites, Medicare-certified Rehabilitation services, Skilled Nursing, and Transitional Care. We also introduced our Campus Home Health Program and HomeBridge to provide additional support both on campus and throughout the greater Rock Hill community. These services allow us to meet residents’ changing needs while maintaining the continuity of care that defines a continuing care retirement community.
In 2008, we opened HomeBridge, the go-to in-home care provider in Rock Hill and the surrounding area. HomeBridge’s experienced team of caregivers is committed to ensuring that seniors are cared for in the best way possible while considering health and safety.
Today, Westminster Towers continues to provide a welcoming environment where seniors enjoy maintenance-free living, engaging wellness programs, exceptional amenities, and access to a full continuum of care—all on one beautiful campus in Rock Hill, SC.
