Director of Dining Services (Unidine)

Since second grade, I’ve dreamed of working in the hospitality industry—a passion sparked by family vacations where my parents introduced us to the joy of staying in hotels and dining out. I pursued that dream at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, earning a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Hospitality Management with a minor in Accounting, fueled by my love for numbers.

After graduation, I began my career at the Newark Airport Marriott. A few years later, I transitioned to the food service side of my major and have worked as a Food Service Manager ever since—gaining experience in K–12 schools, higher education, corrections, business dining, and now senior dining.

In 2007, I moved from New Jersey to the South with my four children and raised them on my own. I’m grateful to have traded snow shovels for warm weather. Now that my kids are grown, my 92-year-old mother has moved in with me. Caring for her and spending this special time together has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
